Before anything else, we would like to remind everyone that IF you were scammed by players from our Bear Trade section, BABV Helpers is not responsible for your loss. We will try to help out but ultimately, it is out of our hands.
Bear Trade is exclusive for trading of Buildabearville virtual items only. Trading of codes, real bears, real cash and other tangible stuff is strictly prohibited! Trading off with other blogs and forum sites is not allowed.
Do not use the Bear Mail system when trading, to avoid issues of not getting items, etc. BABV Helpers will not be held liable for that.
This is strictly a Trade-only section. Unrelated posts will be automatically erased.
We advise everyone to practice due diligence when inside Bear Trade!

Rules and Guidelines for Small Traders:
To make sure everything goes well for you Small Traders, just follow these very simple rules:
1. Do not PM members randomly. This is why we made this special section-so you can show your My Stuff to the public for trade. We will temporarily suspend your account if you do not abide by this rule.
2. Follow this format when creating a trade thread:
Your BABV Username:AdriannaApril104
Preferred Den - Location: Teddy Terrace, UK - Neighborhood
Preferred Time: Daily, 1:30pm - 4pm Central

PSI: Newspaper, Large Tiara
Other special items: 2008 glasses
Please follow the format above. Those who do not comply will be sent an email to modify their thread post. If they do not change it within 24 hours, the thread will be moved to the archive section.
3. You can offer a maximum of 5 different items per thread and this will last for 3 days ONLY.
4. Only 1 thread/member is allowed. Duplicates will be deleted and the member will be given a warning. 2 warnings of the same offense will result in indefinite suspension of your account.
5. When members reply to your trade post, make sure to reply back to every posts by either accepting or rejecting their offer. For rejected offers, please specify reason. For accepted offers, make sure to set the date, time and place. You have to show up on your scheduled time. If we hear complaints about absences, we will make appropriate sanctions.
6. Members should make a valid trade by Bear Trading an equal item.

Invalid trade offers will be deleted by the officers.
7. Make sure to make all trade transactions public. DO NOT PM the trader or the players who replied to your trade post. Your account here will be banned for doing that!
8. Let us all know that your trade with every member has taken place. Reply to your thread by posting every successful trade. Failure to do so will result in warning and deletion of your thread.
9. Your trade thread will last for 3 days only. We will lock the thread after 3 days and move it to the Archives.
10. You will only be able make a new trade thread once your old thread has been moved to the Archives.
11. If you encounter any problems with other players brought about by this trade section, let an officer know right away!
12. The officers reserve the right to delete/modify and or close your BearXchange thread based on our Rules and Guidelines.
